Welcome! Alliance Restoration

We are happy to assist you with all of your emergencies. We are family-owned and have been operating since 2005. Alliance Restoration is a full service restoration company. We provide mitigation services for water damage/sewage; fire / smoke or soot damage; mold; biohazard; air duct cleaning; etc. If needed we can restore your property to its pre-loss condition. Our reconstruction division offers all the trades to fully restore your property.

We’re open 24 hours a day; 365 days. When notified of a loss our team will be on-site within two hours. Our team is IICRC certified; and background checked. A project manager will be assigned to your loss and will offer regular updates on your project. He will be your liaison with the insurance company and will reach a settlement with them. Our company commitment to you is 100% satisfaction. We offer a free onsite inspection at your convenience.

  • Worked in the accounting field for 35 years
  • Partnered with my husband in the startup of Alliance, handling all administrative procedures
  • Our philosophy is to take our earnings income and reinvest in people, equipment, and vehicles to help facilitate growth

Michael Deffley Jr

General Manager

Michael Deffley Jr - General Manager

Graduate from Lasalle Academy where he was captain of the basketball and soccer team. After a post graduate year at Worcester Academy he went on to play soccer and major in Economics and minor business at Umass Amherst. Has been with Alliance almost from its inception. The past 20 years in the Restoration business include time as a field tech, project manager, sales manager and now resides as General Manager. His passions include Crossfit and spending time with his four children Chase, Rilynn, Arya, and Tatum and vacationing with his wife Katie.


Renee Paquin

Mitigation Project Manager

Renee Paquin - Mitigation Project Manager

Renee is born and raised in Rhode Island. Renee studied criminal justice and graduated with highest honors by graduating with a 4.0 GPA obtaining her law enforcement degree. She had worked in law enforcement for 6 years before switching career paths and joining the Alliance team as a mitigation project manager. She loves how rewarding the occupation is. Renee enjoys working directly with you to help and improve your quality of life.

Scott Deffley

Scott Deffley - Mitigation Project Manager

Scott is drywall certified, retirement housing contractor certified, and masonry certified. Scott has been in the industry since the inception of the company back in 2005 when it was known as 1-800 Water Damage. Scott graduated from Elon University in 2018 with a degree in finance. He has worked on all sides of business from, sales to operations to mitigation and now repairs! Scott enjoys spending his spare time playing golf, hanging with friends and spending time outdoors. He truly loves being able to travel and spend time with his friends and family!

Liz Nina

Liz Nina - Mitigation Operations Assistant

Meet Lizzet Nina an operations assistant with Alliance Restoration Inc. Before working for Alliance Restoration, Lizzet worked as an Account Manager for a jewelry manufacturing company in NYC. Where Liz prides herself on providing great customer service to her clients and being a reliable team player. Now living in Rhode Island, where she grew up, she is looking forward to applying those skills to her new and existing position as an Operations Coordinator.


Adam Robitaille

Adam Robitaille - Repair Divison Director

Adam is an OSHA-10 licensed contractor with over 20 years in the construction industry. Adam prides himself as a family man with a 3 year old son and a 7 month old daughter. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family playing sports and indulging in outdoor activities.

Mitchell Belanger

Mitchell Belanger - Repair Project Manager

Mitch is originally from the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. He graduated from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Mitch has worked as an Architectural Home builder for 7 years before joining the Alliance repair team in 2018. After over 3 years in the restoration business, Mitch had managed the completion of hundreds of repairs! Mitchell prides himself as a professional spearfisherman during his free time and currently sits as the Vice President for the largest free-dive spearfishing club in the country.

Maribel Soto

Repair Project Manager

Maribel Soto - Repair Project Manager

Maribel has an Associates in Architecture from Franklin Institute of Boston and attended Northeastern University. She has over 20 years of experience working in the construction industry and has held positions as an Assistant Project Manager for General Contractors, Project Manager for subcontractors and a supplier, and a Maintenance Supervisor for a hotel and low-income housing. Maribel has excellent customer service and project management skills and will guide you through the process from beginning to end.

James Deffley

James Deffley - Repair Project Manager

James Deffley is a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island’s College of Engineering, obtaining a degree in civil engineering. He has worked for Alliance Restoration since the inception of the company. James began working in mitigation and has transitioned into a repair project manager. In his spare time, James enjoys golfing, working out, and spending time with his family and friends.

Margherita Montagna

Margherita Montagna - Repair Division Administrative Assistant

Margherita Montagna graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2020 with a dual degree in finance and economics. At Alliance, she is the repair assistant and works in accounts receivables. Margherita spent ten years as an equestrian successfully competing on the “A” circuit across the northeast and Florida.

Alyssa Nappa

Alyssa Nappa - Human Resources Director

Education: Alumni of Rhode Island College: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Associates degree in Sociology.
History: True Rhode Islander born and raised. My previous experience was Parole and Probation. I left in 2017 to pursue a different path. I fell into Human Resources here at Alliance Restoration and have enjoyed every second. Some things I enjoy are family days, a good charcuterie board and a Spanish wine.

Laurie Enright

Accounts Recivables

Laurie Enright - Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivables Manager: Responsible for collecting past due payments and processing incoming payments in compliance with company policies & procedures. Correspond via email and phone resolving disputes and discrepancies with Insurance providers and customers. Help facilitate new policies and procedures as part of the Management team. Initiated the cloud based online filing system Share Sync and trained all employees to use to be more efficient and effective. Responsible for all account payment plans, and all accounts sent to Legal. I work directly with the Attorney to provide all documentation and information needed after all attempts for collection have been exhausted.

New to the restoration business but excited to learn the ins and outs. I love being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends.

Amanda Carlson - Sales Director & Operations Supervisor

Amanda grew up north of the border in Toronto Ontario Canada where she received her degree in Administration before working her way to a position as the National Sales Rep for a US line of PVC pipe for municipal water and wastewater applications. In 2013 Amanda made her way to Northern Vermont enjoying the green-mountains while working as a Municipal Town Administrator before happily making the beautiful State of Rhode Island her home in 2020.
